HOUSE RULES AND BOOKING POLICIES
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is from 2pm. Check-out time is strictly before 10am. This allows us to get the house cleaned and ready for our next guests. Late check-out will be charged at $20 per 30 minutes.
KEY ACCESS
We will provide you with instructions and photos of where to located the key lock box a few days prior to your arrival. The code for the key lock box is sent via text message on the evening before your booked date. Please return the key to the lock box upon departure.
DOG RULES
Up to four dogs are allowed to stay. They are welcome to be inside. We provide sheets to cover the sofas. Please ensure we won't find any dog hair on any of the bedding or towels (other than the two provided doggy towels) or otherwise you will be charged a replacement fee of $150 per linen/ towel set. Please pick up any doggy doo's (pooper scooper is provided). There are dog bowls, toys, shampoo, poo bags, treats etc.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a deposit of 50% of the total to secure your booking. This is refundable up to 2 months before your arrival. The remainder of the total is required 2 months prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
Covid: We give a full refund if there's an official government lockdown during your booked dates, however we don't refund if you change your mind or think it may be unsafe to travel. We do not allow for your booking to be transferred to a later date as it would still leave us with a loss of income.
Any cancellation (incl. due to Covid) will incur an administration fee of $75.
NOISE
Pacific Pearl is located in a quiet area, please keep noise down, especially at night. No parties allowed. However a quiet gathering with family and friends is of course very welcome.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
The booking is per house for up to 6 people above the age of 2 (3 queen-sized beds). However, more people can stay if you want to pitch a tent, sleep on the sofa or use the available camping mattresses in the garage. Extra persons over the age of 2 years are $25 per night and must be declared when booking for insurance reasons.
SECURITY DEPOSIT AND ID
We ask for a refundable deposit of $250 payable one week before your arrival. At this time you also need to provide us with a photo of your driver's license (front & back) sent as a text message to our mobile.
BREAKAGES & DAMAGE
We trust that you treat our house with the utmost care. We understand that accidents can happen and appreciate it if you tell us about incidents and broken items so we can fix and replace them before the next guests arrives. In case of bigger damage, we reserve the right to use (part of) your security deposit. Pacific Pearl is fully insured as a holiday accommodation and in case of a claim you will need to pay the excess fee.
UPON DEPARTURE
On your last day, please clean up as best as you can, take the rubbish out, strip the beds and place all used linen and towels in the laundry. Empty dishwasher and pack away all kitchen utensils. Ensure that all evidence of dogs has been taken care of (hair / poos). Thank you
